I was looking for a spice grinder and this came up as one of the grinders in the amazon search. After purchase, the manual informs that it could only be used for coffee beans. I am not much of a coffee drinker hence, used it for grinding spices only. Did not last longer than 4 months. Got burned out...when powdering sugar for baking. Guess it can only be used for coffee beans. Worked fine while it lasted.
